player jobs haven't been implemented yet....but I guess it would be a decent idea to be able to give the job to someone in your faction

I know they are not yet, I was asking that for someone who knew the details of what was being implemented.

I understand the need for better direct faction-to-faction trade other than using the market. But as a successful independent player, I'd like to be able to open say, an outpost, where I could sell to specific factions or specific individuals of my choosing. In that way I could trade both with my various faction allies as well as support the local factions in my region.
Creating a 'Faction Only' hanger really adds to the faction advantage and leaves the non-faction player in the cold. Factions already have huge advantages over Indys, but some of us enjoy playing solo and having the option to interact and trade with all. This option would really have me thinking about creating my own faction or joining up, a decision I'm not prepared to make just yet.

Let's keep OE fun for all and not just consider the needs of the factions as we move forward in development.

Couldn't you use the starbase of another faction? Independents are more then welcome in Iliszorary station, and we offer a 50% rebate on your market tax.

You're hyping this too much! There's not too much point anyway.

I respectfully disagree, Iliszorary has had our first supplier take advantage of this offer, and some good feedback from buyers who enjoyed being able to outfit their ship entirely at this station, without having to fly all across Nyridion.

If you can assemble the entire set of materials for my Interceptor at Iliszorary save the Sammy pgens, I will happily capitalize on this offer.

So I suppose that this ship that was outfitted entirely at Iliszorary was something very simple. Lol.

We are not the economic power house that Iron Union is, but in the two months since Res Publica was established, we have made a significant impact on the Nyridion political scene.

We have a niche, and we cater too it. In one week since Iliszorary Station came under Res Publica management, it has been transformed. This is a significant part of the promise that I made to the people of Aurlinfinn to boost our local economy in the wake of a series of conflicts in the region. It was stated quite clearly that this program was not intended for factions that currently have their own stations. It may not offer anything to you at this time, but you are not the market I am trying to reach.
