Until recently Vanilla Chinchilla was the leader of Guild of the Fallen. He abandoned his faction without notice but not before clearing out their entire treasury of 400,000 credits. It was the sum of donations from faction leaders down to new recruits. I will not dwell on this too long and detail his history of acts that are disrespectful to players so we must help Guild move forward.

I would hate to see an exodus from Guild and the faction to fall apart because of his actions. What makes OE is the community and as a community we should make sure the players of Guild do not feel such actions are tolerated, we would hate to loose more active players from the game. And why not have fun doing it?

To rebuild the stolen Guild Treasury I am organizing the Chinchilla Shoot. Donations begin immediately and the Shoot begins Friday, 1 Jan 09.

Donations will be accepted until Friday 8 Jan 09. Rewards will begin to be issued at that time but the Shoot will be open until all rewards have been claimed.

We are asking for players and factions to pitch in and donate credits to this. The funds are to be transferred to Hank Jamesson, the new leader of Guild and a trustworthy player. Please send him an email to him stating the amount given.


Of the funds donated 70% will remain in the Guild Treasury to ensure VC's treachery does not cripple their faction.

10% Goes to the first player to destroy VC.

10% Goes to the second player to destroy VC.

5% Goes to the first player to report VC's current position outside of government space. Please do this openly in general chat.

5% Goes to the first Commonwealth player to destroy VC*

To easily claim the kill you should take a screenshot of the kill message and post it to the forums.

*Commonwealth players are only eligable for the 5% Commonwealth kill reward. Any other kills we get or reports of his position outside of gov space will be a favour to Guild.

I am a member of Guild and we have stayed together and oddly enough recruited some really active new players.

Vanilla stole approximately 423,000 from our faction bank. That money was contributed by all members and was being saved for a space station. Fortunately he left and joined YAAARRRR and now we can gleefully kill him on sight.

Hank Jamesson was appointed interim leader by Vanilla Chinchilla. He viewed this as an illegal act of a traitor and put leadership to a vote. We had an election and validly elected DORK VADER as our new Admiral. Dork chose Hank Jamesson as his Vice Admiral.

Guild has set up a true congressional/parliamentary style government.

We are currently finishing our Constitutional Convention and finishing up the division of power between Congress and the Admiral.

Don't have pity on us, rather lets have fun killing Vanilla Chinchilla again and again.

Guild is a member of the new commonwealth and is far stronger than ever.

Hello All,
Some may have already witnessed VC talking about it in Gen Chat Sunday Jan 10th, but i've had a bit of trouble registering on the OE forum site. Anyway, Dirk Prefect put out a call on IRON faction channel for any available combat ships to come to Evejene immediately. Several IRON members were on-site within a very short period of time. After pulling up the Tac, several ships were apparent in and around Evejene. After closer inspection, one ship could be seen flying very erratically all over the screen... You guessed it, Guilds former Embezzler in Chief: Vanilla Chinchilla. After chasing the Weas... Ahem...Chinchilla around the system I managed to get a lock on him as he shot towards the sun in his explorator. Unfortunately for VC, he was soon greeted by 3-4 finely crafted Sammy del Fierro torps up the tailpipe. A fitting "End" to the Chinchilla. Hopefully this news will put a smile on everyones face, Especially the members of Guild who were wronged by VC's treachery.
Wherever the Chinchilla runs IRON will be there.

What a glorious tale of retribution, I tip my hat to you Owen. I only wish he had been caught in his BS.

I wanted to wait to see how his second account played out but I might as well announce the Chinchilla Shoot is extended at least until all prizes have been earned. Til then it's open for donations, several players have expressed interest but were in the midst of major purchases, you can blame Atom Weavers improved DN for that.

On a side note, Ares Avenger destroyed VCs SDC in a duel last week although the arranged fight does not qualify but congratulatios to Ares nonetheless.
